Upland Hills Health offers FREE seminars at upcoming senior event

Upland Hills Health professionals will offer free seminars during the Senior Expo Fall Ball to be held at the Belmont Convention Center on September 20th. A cooking seminar at 10 am and a dance/fitness seminar will take place at 1 pm.

Liz Berkey, Registered Dietician and Director of Upland Hills Health Nutrition Services will be conducting a “SPICE IT UP!” seminar demonstrating and sampling tasty recipes. Spices and herbs are presented as the healthy alternative adding pizzazz and fun to everyday eating. Berkey will reinforce the importance and impact of healthy eating at any age. Berkey’s presentation begins at 10 am.

Marianne Crowley and Becky Tank, RNs and Co-Mangers of Upland Hills Health’s respected Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program, will help attendees dance their way to a fun and fit lifestyle at the “MOVE TO IMPROVE” Seminar held at 1 pm.

Upland Hills Health is co-sponsor of the September 20th event. Director of Community Relations, Patricia Lawson, explains, “We’re excited about the opportunity to reach lots of folks with good information on how to make their lives more fit and more fun!
